2009 presented the club with new challenges as families
continued to feel the pressure of the economy fluctuations and its affect on
the weekly and regional races. Although times appeared to be tough, the members
continued to support their child's racing program and their club and allow them
to have a successful 2009 season.
We were fortunate again to participate
in a promotional event during the Nationwide Race at Gateway International
Speedway. The members were invited to participate in an on track display during
the prerace ceremonies. The track also had their 9th annual March Madness,
hosted one of the Region 5 regional events and presented the 2nd annual Gateway
50.
